Welcome to Christmas Care - we have been providing food, warmth & hospitality for the homeless & vulnerable at Christmas since 1988.

We have now closed our doors for this year. Our guests have left with provisions after being fed, watered and provided with a safe and warm place for the four days over Christmas.
We would like to say a massive thank you to our volunteers and those who have supported us. Without you, Christmas Care could not exist. We hope very much to see you again next year.
Christmas Care is a Swindon charity that provides a temporary shelter with hot food, personal care and Christmas cheer for homeless, isolated and vulnerable people in the Swindon area over the Christmas period. It has operated every Christmas since 1988, moved to Buckhurst Park Community Centre, Walcot in 2016 and continues to operate from there.
It is run entirely by volunteers and a small committee, and is funded purely from donations, both cash and donations in kind.
When does Christmas Care happen?
The project opens its doors to guests at 11am on Christmas Eve and operates round the clock for four days and nights, closing mid-morning on 28th December.
