Welcome to Christmas Care - we have been providing food, warmth & hospitality for the homeless & vulnerable at Christmas since 1988.
Thank you to everyone who has volunteered this year. We had two really good volunteer meetings in November and have now completed both our General and Kitchen shift rotas - so we do not need any more volunteers for Christmas 2019.
If you have not received an email giving you details of the shift your have been given, unfortunately we have been unable to find a slot for you. Please do consider volunteering for us next year.

Christmas Care is a Swindon charity that provides a temporary shelter with hot food, personal care and Christmas cheer for homeless, isolated and vulnerable people in the Swindon area over the Christmas period. It has operated every Christmas since 1988, moved to Buckhurst Park Community Centre, Walcot in 2016 and continues to operate from there.
It is run entirely by volunteers and a small committee, and is funded purely from donations, both cash and donations in kind.
When does Christmas Care happen?
The project opens its doors to guests at 11am on Christmas Eve and operates round the clock for four days and nights, closing mid-morning on 28th December.
