Welcome to Christmas Care - we have been providing food, warmth & hospitality for the homeless & vulnerable at Christmas since 1988.
To make a financial donation to support Christmas Care's work, and enable us to claim 25% Gift Aid back from the government, please use our Givey page:
For other ways to donate, please see our Donate page.
Due to the current circumstances around COVID-19 - which look to last well beyond Christmas - we are currently in discussion to see how we can still support our visitors in line with government advice and guidelines.
We will update this page as soon as we have more information about Christmas Care 2020.
Christmas Care is a Swindon charity that provides a temporary shelter with hot food, personal care and Christmas cheer for homeless, isolated and vulnerable people in the Swindon area over the Christmas period. It has operated every Christmas since 1988, moved to Buckhurst Park Community Centre, Walcot in 2016 and continues to operate from there.
It is run entirely by volunteers and a small committee, and is funded purely from donations, both cash and donations in kind.
When does Christmas Care happen?
The project opens its doors to guests at 11am on Christmas Eve and operates round the clock for four days and nights, closing mid-morning on 28th December.
