Betty Spence - Life President

It is with great sadness that we have heard of the death of Betty Spence, shortly before Christmas 2023. Betty was the inspiration and founder of Christmas Care.  The details of her funeral are given here.

She was a founding Trustee when it was formally registered as a charity and has been key to building it up to the standing it has in Swindon today.  She was honoured with one of the first Pride of Swindon awards in 2010 for her achievements.

Betty became Life President of Christmas Care in January 2014.
